The marketing landscape continues to move quickly, tasking industry executives to keep a pulse on innovation if they wish to build brand awareness and consumer loyalty. Accordingly, a number of marketing conferences are slated to return in 2025 to offer executives a chance to network and share fresh ideas around strategy. 

Upcoming events are likely to touch on the advertising industry’s latest trends, including artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing, retail media, navigating cord-cutting behavior amid connected TV’s boom and marketing to Gen Z. Notable organizers including the Association of National Advertisers and Interactive Advertising Bureau have already begun to work out their conference plans for the coming year.

CES

Las Vegas

The Consumer Electronics Show is a trade-only event for professionals affiliated with the consumer technology industry. The event is a space for global brands to meet new partners, unveil innovative releases and breakthroughs and engage with immersive activations and demos. The trade show is hosted by the Consumer Technology Association. 

SXSW

March 7-15
Austin, Texas

The annual SXSW Conference & Festivals bring together global professionals across the tech, film, music and television realms for networking, discovery and professional development. The event features conference sessions, film and TV festival screenings, music festival showcases, exhibitions, competitions, awards and more. 

Possible 

April 28-30
Miami Beach, Florida

Possible was co-founded by MMA’s Greg Stuart and Christian Muche, the co-founder of DMEXCO, and was launched in 2023. The event includes networking opportunities, masterclasses, workshops, an exposition, VIP programming and entertainment curated for the greater marketing ecosystem, spanning brands, technology, digital and more. 

ANA Brand Masters

May 7-9
Los Angeles

The Association of National Advertisers’ (ANA) Brand Masters Conference is a two-day event that aims to provide marketers with actionable ideas to drive the growth of their brands. The conference gives attendees a chance to engage with other industry professionals and in the past has featured speakers from companies including Nationwide, Criteo, Crayola and more. 

IAB NewFronts

The IAB NewFronts serves as a digital content marketplace bringing together media buyers, agencies, brands, publishers, streaming platforms and more to discuss the latest innovations coming down the pike. The IAB’s 2024 event featured a number of live presentations with representation from giants like Nielsen, Vizio, Dentsu and Google.

Cannes Lions 

June 16-20
Cannes, France

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity hosts thousands of advertisers from across the globe to celebrate the industry’s most prestigious work and hear from a variety of thought leaders who have made an impact on the space. The festival draws from over 90 countries and hosts north of 12,000 people, 550 agencies and 350 brands.

Fall
New York

Advertising Week New York, one of the industry’s biggest U.S. gatherings, brings together professionals across the marketing, advertising, technology and brand landscapes to discuss the buzziest trends shaping the industry. The four-day event aims to deliver practical insights to marketers via a slate of programming that in the past has included speakers from giants like Mondelez, the NFL and Johnson & Johnson. 

DMEXCO

The Digital Marketing Exposition & Conference (DMEXCO) is billed as Europe’s leading digital marketing and tech event. The conference is open to industry leaders, marketing and media professionals and tech innovators and hosts debates, masterclasses, expositions and keynotes meant to provide insights around the future of the digital economy.
