Our Beauty Editor’s Prime Day Picks: Tatcha, Dove, and Dyson

The lip oil of all lip oils. Ami Colé oil leaves my lips cushiony soft and hydrated while leaving a glossy-like finish. The shades are all universally flattering. I love to wear a deep brown lip liner with shade Bliss.

On days I just want a natural finish foundation, I always turn to Clinique’s medium coverage foundation because it appears like a second skin. It has a glowy finish without making my skin feel oily.

This primer is called Hydro Grip for a reason because it literally grips my skin like a suction cup so makeup can last without melting off or looking cakey. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid to simultaneously keep skin hydrated for a radiant and dewy finish. It works!

Anastasia Soare has been dubbed the eyebrow queen for years because she knows the science behind achieving the perfect brow. I use her brow wiz pencil everyday. It mimics natural eyebrow hairs for a natural-looking brow, plus the spoolie end of the pencil blends the pigment in with the hairs for an even more pristine brow.

This gel-to-foam cleanser easily removes the day off your face, whether it’s makeup or SPF, without stripping the skin. It’s formulated with antioxidants like green tea and kale and leaves my skin glowy.

Hero Cosmetic’s pimple patches have been the best ones I’ve ever used. The first time I spot a pimple I’m reaching for a mighty patch, they’re tiny but mighty. In a few hours the hydrocolloid patch absorbs the gunk inside of a pimple so that it can either be completely gone or decrease in size sans irritation or redness.

Some washcloths can be super aggressive. Because of that I pivoted to Clean Skin’s one time use towelettes a few years ago, they help to maintain a more healthy skin barrier when washing products like cleansers off.

I admittedly don’t love cleansing balms mostly because I wear eyelash extensions and oils from balms tend to cause the lashes to fall off quicker, but Elemis’s pro-collagen balm is the exception to that rule. It’s the one balm that leaves my skin feeling softer and looking more luminous than I could imagine. Plus: It’s infused with lavender, chamomile, and eucalyptus, so whenever I use it in my nighttime routine it often feels like a calming self-care moment.

Belif’s aqua-bomb moisturizer is treasured by editors, makeup artists, and more because of the intense hydration that it delivers to the skin. The K-beauty moisturizer is ideal for super dry skin, it reverses the dryness to reveal a fresh and hydrated face.

Tatcha’s dewy skin cream is one of my favorite moisturizers on the market. This mist is what I call the moisturizer bottled up into a liquid because it leaves my skin feeling almost just as dewy and plump as the cream. It’s the mist that I always bring in my airplane purse to save my skin from becoming dehydrated when flying.

Speaking of flying, Laneige’s lip mask is my go-to for saving my lips from airplane dehydration. My lips are always the softest or most hydrated when I consistently use this in my nighttime routine.

I didn’t go anywhere this summer without this SPF oil, it’s a fast absorbing, rich protective oil that leaves the skin barrier moisturized and protected. The best part is there’s no worrying about a white cast showing up because the oil melts into the skin leaving a glow like any other oil would. It’s also my go-to for a no-makeup makeup look: the glowiest skin courtesy of the oil and a tad bit of blush.

Dry skin? We don’t know her! This oil keeps my skin deeply moisturized with a non-greasy glow. The light citrus scented oil is an all year round staple whether you want to show off your glowy legs in the summer or your skin is craving nourishment during colder months.

Aveeno lotion is a classic staple. Ideal for sensitive and dry skin, it’s formulated with prebiotic oat to soothe skin and really penetrate the skin for all day nourishment. It’s the lotion I turn to in the middle of the winter to avoid dry and scaly skin.

Dove’s body wash is notorious for leaving skin smooth and healthy without stripping it. Its relaxing lavender wash is my nighttime-routine staple — the formula is meant to relax you (which it 100 percent does for me after a long day or long morning workout), but the lavender oil doesn’t mean the body wash compromises on how it cleanses. It still has an amazing lather and leaves the skin smooth like an OG Dove body wash.

If you prefer shower oils (which, same, depending on the day), this sweet almond-oil milky cleanser will change your life. Not only does it have a milky lather that cleanses the body while leaving the skin with a soft and delicate sensation, but it has a decadent warm vanilla scent that sits on the body in and out the shower.

Yes K18’s hair mask is amazing and basically reverses damage, but its other products are just as great. Because I workout daily my scalp is prone to a lot of build up of sweat and oils, this detox shampoo deeply cleanses my scalp without irritating it and it doesn’t strip my hair of its natural oils.

My golden beauty rule I always tell people: When Dyson’s Supersonic dryer is on sale, buy it. It’s one of the best investments you can make for any texture of hair, not only because it’s quick at effectively drying the hair, but also because it protects hair from heat damage and there are five attachments that cater to every type of hair from the tightest coil to the loosest wave.

There have been way too many times that I leave the hair salon with the bounciest perfect curls, only to get home and not be able to duplicate it at all. T3 curling iron’s makes that possible. The rotating iron is easy to use and has up to nine heating settings based on your preference. I love the 1.25-inch iron because it creates flawless salon curls all in the comfort of my own home.
