Sean “Diddy” Combs is honoring daughter Love’s birthday from jail.
“Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! ❤️🫶🏽,” Combs wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, October 15. “Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you 🎂🎉🎈.”
Combs announced his seventh child’s birth in December 2022, with her birth certificate confirming that Dana Tran is her mom. (Combs is also dad to kids Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance and twins D’Lila and Jessie.)
Less than two years later, Combs was arrested in September after facing several sexual assault and abuse allegations. He was later charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.
One day after his arrest, a 14-page indictment was unsealed. Per the indictment, Combs would orchestrate “Freak Offs” which were “elaborate and produced sex performances” that often took place in hotel rooms. Diddy allegedly “masturbated during, and often electronically recorded” them.
After pleading not guilty, Combs was denied bail and remanded to stay at the Metropolitan Detention Center until his trial. He has denied all allegations. His trial is set to start on May 5, 2025.
As he remains behind bars, Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, October 14, that Diddy was subsequently accused of rape and sexual assaults in six lawsuits filed anonymously by two unidentified women and four unidentified men in a Manhattan federal court. According to lawyers, these are six suits out of a group of over 100 alleged victims who are seeking legal action against Combs.
“The Buzbee Law Firm, along with co-counsel AVA Law Group and New York local counsel Curis Law, is filing six cases this week alleging aggravated sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and those entities with whom he has been affiliated, to include in one case Macy’s department store, and in another Marriott Hotels,” lead counsel Tony Buzbee shared in a statement to Us. “The cases are being brought for conduct that occurred over a span beginning in 1995, through 2021. All of the events occurred in New York and are being filed pursuant to the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act. Four of the alleged victims in these cases are male, two are female. One was sixteen at the time of the alleged occurrences. We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves, and will work to see that justice is done. We expect to be filing many more cases over the next several weeks naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings.”
Combs’ lawyers denied the claims. “The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” their statement read. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman.”
Earlier this month, Buzbee claimed during a press conference that his firm and AVA Law Group are representing 60 men and 60 women who are alleged victims of Combs, with more than 20 claiming to be underage at the time of incident.
Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolff shared a statement with Us in response: “He cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
