Chloe Bailey turned up the heat in a custom Atsuko Kudo Couture latex gown. The contrasting black gown and red bralette elevated the sultry drama to a new level. The fit was perfection, accentuating her curves while keeping it tasteful.

Warmth wins

Ellie Goulding made a practical yet stylish choice with her Moncler puffer coat-gown hybrid. In a sea of freezing fashionistas, she looked smart and chic, prioritising comfort without sacrificing glamour. The unique silhouette made this an unforgettable moment. Ellie gets major points for practicality.

Halle Bailey sparkled in a strapless Ellie Misner gown adorned with shimmering paillettes and pearls. The design felt like a subtle nod to ‘The Little Mermaid, ‘blending fantasy with sophistication. The fit and embellishments were flawless.

Issa Rae went understated in a black Roland Mouret strapless velvet dress. While not groundbreaking, the look exuded timeless elegance. The clean lines and rich fabric were undeniably flattering.

Jourdan Dunn embraced fun and fierceness in a Dior Fall 2024 leopard-print ensemble. The shorts showcased her endlessly long legs, reminding us of her supermodel status. Playful yet polished, this was a standout look. Jourdan’s ability to balance boldness with sophistication is unmatched.

Lady Kitty Spencer dazzled in a gold Mary Katrantzou gown from the Spring 2025 collection, stepping away from her usual Dolce & Gabbana. The intricate detailing and metallic sheen made this a red carpet hit. A shimmering triumph for Lady Kitty.

Leomie Anderson captivated in an Iris van Herpen Fall 2023 Haute Couture creation. The swirling design was a study in avant-garde fashion, perfectly suited to her bold style. Leomie’s ability to carry such a conceptual piece with confidence was remarkable. She keeps proving why she’s a red carpet favourite.

A rare miss

It’s almost impressive how poorly executed Maya Jama’s Conner Ives look was. The outdated design and sloppy construction did her no favours. Maya’s team seriously dropped the ball on this one. She deserved far better for such a high-profile event.

Illusions perfected

Meadow Walker stunned in a Nensi Dojaka Spring 2025 deconstructed chiffon dress with flawless illusion panels. The sculptural elements and ethereal vibe made this a standout look. It’s a daring design, but Meadow carried it beautifully. Personally, I adore this.

When Moncler meets modern elegance

Maria Sharapova showcased effortless chic in a collaboration between Moncler and Jil Sander. The clean lines and elevated tailoring highlighted her statuesque frame, blending sophistication with functional fashion. It was a refreshing choice, proving that simplicity can be striking when executed with precision. Maria’s look was a masterclass in understated luxury.

Missed potential in Mugler

Marisa Abela’s Mugler look had all the makings of a bold red carpet moment but fell flat due to poor styling. The concept was there, but the execution lacked the finesse needed to make it work.

Vintage with a modern twist

Mona Patel dazzled in a vintage Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown with a jewel-encrusted corset. While some may prefer the original skirt, the updated version added a contemporary touch that brought the look into the modern era. The butterfly accent on her shoulder felt personal and poetic, tying the ensemble together beautifully with her viral Met Gala moment.

A Prada revival done right

Paloma Faith dipped into the Prada archives, wearing a striking black dress from the Spring 2009 collection. This vintage choice felt fresh, especially with the recent resurgence of this collection seen on red carpets (Hunter Schafer this time last year at the ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’ world premiere). The timeless silhouette and unique detailing made it a standout moment, proving that classics never go out of style. Paloma’s eye for fashion history paid off beautifully.

White wins again

Tems embraced her signature white aesthetic in a feathered strapless Dilara Fındıkoğlu gown. From the Oscars, TIME100 Next Event to the ELLE Style Awards, white has become her go-to for major events. The feather detailing added drama without overpowering her natural grace. Tems’ consistent style choices continue to pay off. You may remember that Anya Taylor-Joy wore the runway red version back in April 2023.
