Barry – Jungle was tougher than I thought

Richard shares tender moment with Oti
Whilst getting ready for bed, Richard confides in Oti about his struggles.
He says: ‘Not a great day for me, I’m 62 and I do find some of the physical stuff quite challenging.
‘I don’t want to bring other people down.’
Oti says: ‘We are here for you, we’re here to bring you up.’
She then gives him a hug and says: ‘I’m so proud of you.’
Danny reveals he sees Barry as father figure
Danny and Oti are seen having a heart to heart as Danny tells her he doesn’t speak to his father.
Oti asks about him going to therapy
Danny replies: ‘I did but you can go to therapy, but you still crave your dad and that’s what’s hard. That’s why I get so much satisfaction out of Barry.’
Oti replied: ‘I can see that and that’s why he’s so protective over you, like a scorpion.’
Speaking of Barry in the Bush Telegraph, Danny says: “I think the world of Barry, he’s amazing and we’ve been through this whole experience together.
‘It’s just nice having someone older than you that does replace that kind of fatherly figure. Just to put his arm around you and have your back.
‘I’ve not had that feeling for a while.’
GK, Barry, Alan and Richard win 7 stars
The klaxon for Face Invaders sounds and the celebrities are off.
They each push buttons as fast as they can as critters join them in their head bubbles.
GK hums to get herself through, and she is the first to get her first star along the power bar.
Barry is next to get his first star, followed by Alan, and then Richard.
With four stars in the bag, more critters join them which saw them battle to finish in the allotted time.
GK comes first to the finish line, storming ahead of the others to win her second star. Alan and Barry join her after, but Richard doesn’t quite make it to his second star, meaning they win 7 out of 8 stars,
Voting closes
The vote for tonight’s vote has now closed.
We should learn who will be leaving very shortly.
Celebrities return to Arcade of Agony to win food
It’s now evening and the celebrities are bidding to win food.
Barry, Alan, GK and Richard head down to the Arcade of Agony Trial to take on ‘Face Invaders’, where they can win up to eight stars.
The game sees each celebrity enter their own game console, with the objective to hit buttons on their console as many times as they can.
The more they hit the buttons, the more their power bar lights up, and the quicker they get their stars.
Barry strategises “Food, think food. We’re all starving!”
Campmates discuss perils of fame
Celebrities are now talking about fame.
GK admits: ‘It’s weird when you’re on a night out, people’s reactions to you because they can’t believe that they’ve seen you.’
Danny tells the camp how a group of girls found him on holiday in Cyrpus at a private villa by searching the view he posted on Instagram.
Oti quizzes Maura on whether she’d ever had anything written about her in the press that wasn’t true.
She replied: ‘I’ve been put with men that I’ve never been with’.
She goes on: ‘Say if I’m at an after party, there’d be an article the next day saying Maura was cosying up with x,y,z, and when they did articles on my past relationships those people would be in it. Realistically, I couldn’t give a s*** about people’s opinions.’
Celebs share strories on parenthood
We’re in camp and the starts are talking about being parents.
Alan shares he will always find time to be a father and Barry agrees: ‘That’s really really important, being present in their lives is so important.’
Oti shares that she felt it wasn’t spoken about how overwhelming parenting for fathers must be too.
Danny adds: “Seeing my wife go through that was kind of new.”
Speaking about his wife Georgia’s experience of childbirth, he said: ‘Looking back now, she had postnatal depression. That is so hard and what made it harder was she didn’t know.’
Oti says after giving birth ‘I just remember going to the shower and I was crying, I was just devastated but nothing was wrong.
‘I had a new baby, the midwives were amazing, I was getting fed, my husband was there, like nothing was wrong but everything was wrong.’
Oti wins immunity from next two public votes
Ant and Dec hand Oti the coveted golden ticket to Cyclone, granting her immunity for the next two vote offs, and a guaranteed place in the Celebrity Cyclone.
A very happy Oti grins and says ‘It feels amazing, I’ve got to wash my underwear more now!’
Back at the camp and the remaining celebrities congratulate Oti as Danny admits she outsmarted the rest of them.
Oti wins the golden ticket!
The pressure builds with Coleen, Danny and Oti neck and neck, all filling up their grids at a fast pace, whilst Maura appears to give up.
But suddenly Oti bursts out of her game area and runs to press the golden buzzer.

Dec remarks: ‘Oti! That was incredible!’, while Ant says ‘Absolutely brilliant.’
Ticket to Cyclone challenge under way!
The klaxon sounds and Oti, Maura, Danny and Coleen spring into action .

Ant tells Maura: “We heard you were very fierce yesterday!”
Ant and Dec praise Coleen for being ‘a machine’ in her Trial, as she agrees by saying ‘Silent scouser’
Ant and Dec then explain how Battle Blocks work with each celebrity placed inside one of four game play areas.
The four will have to find and remove ten blocks and place them into a grid in front of them to make a perfect rectangle before pressing a golden buzzer to win the Ticket to Cyclone.
‘Girl power’: Campmates learn who will compete for golden ticket
Ant and Dec now reveal the four finalists for ‘Ticket to Cyclone’.
Viewers know from last night the stars are Danny, Maura, Oti and Coleen.
Coleen says ‘Female heavy!’ as she reacts with glee to making the final four.
Maura then says: “I’ll just have to try my best today, but I’m up against some strong, hardcore campmates and they’re all very competitive as well. It’s gonna be a tough one today!”
Richard reacts by simply: ‘Girl power!’
Golden ticket is talk of the camp
It appears the upcoming ‘Ticket to Cyclone’ is the talk of the camp this morning.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Alan says: ‘Today we will find out the four celebrities that will go through to the next round to see if they can win that golden ticket for immunity and to get to the Cyclone.
I gave it everything I possibly could so we’ll see if I get a chance to play for that golden ticket!’
Maura adds: ‘I think I might have a little chance of being in the final today, to get to that Cyclone.’
While GK chirps: “I’ll secretly be fuming if I don’t get it!”
Maura receives unwelcome visitor in bed
We join the camp at night with the celebrities fast asleep and Maura, unbeknownst to her, had a visitor in the form of a jungle mouse which climbed on top of her bed, and crawled across her face.

Tulisa’s ex-best friend reveals what really happened between them
Tulisa Contostavlos’ former best friend and personal assistant has insisted that he does not know what is ‘going on’ with her and has not spoken to her in more than a year.
Gareth Varey (pictured with Tulisa in 2012) was previously close to the NDubz singer in both a personal and professional capacity and even once lived with her.
Following reports that she has fallen out with other members of her inner circle after leaving I’m a Celebrity, he told MailOnline: ‘I don’t know what’s going on with her.
‘I haven’t seen or spoken to her for 14 months. We did the NDubz tour together and when that finished we went our separate ways. We wanted to do our own thing and I’ve not seen her since.’
He added: ‘We were close but that was in the past.’
Tulisa reportedly fell out with her best friends after becoming the third star to be voted off I’m A Celebrity, having a ‘huge bust-up’ in the hotel over ‘inappropriate’ content they posted on her Instagram.
Exclusive:Coleen Rooney channelled husband Wayne’s sports-star focus during Cyclone twist
Coleen Rooney channelled her husband Wayne’s sports-star focus during last night’s I’m A Celebrity Cyclone trial twist, a body language expert has claimed.
The WAG, 38, was among the eight remaining campmates who competed in the trial to win a ticket which guarantees immunity from the next two vote offs as well as a coveted place in the epic Cyclone final challenge.
After Wednesday’s episode, body language expert Judi James has revealed that Danny Jones and Alan Halshall exhibited ‘aggressive arousal’ as they headed into battle.
However fan-favourite Coleen remained calm, reserved her energy and magnified her focus as she ‘knows what winning looks like’.
Speaking to Paddy Power Games, Judi said: ‘Coleen though stood with her hands clasped behind her back in a mimicry ritual of football players before a big match.’
Jane Moore reveals which campmates she will stay in contact with
Jane Moore has shared insights into her I’m A Celeb journey and revealed which campmates she plans to stay in touch with.
The Loose Women presenter, 62, was the first star voted out of the jungle last Friday and will now be living in luxury in a hotel until the final when the winner is crowned this Sunday.
Reflecting on her time in the jungle, Jane opened up in her column for The Sun, writing: ‘Given that less than 300 people have been invited to take part since the show started in 2002, I felt privileged to be there.
‘No one else understands how physically and mentally challenging it is, nor the intensity of the highs and lows.’
Stars and families share sweet group photo with Tulisa absent
Tulisa Contostavlos was noticeably absent from Jane Moore’s sweet group snap with her I’m A Celebrity co-stars and their families on Instagram on Thursday.
It was claimed the N-Dubz star had a huge fall out with her best friend Michelle after leaving the I’m A Celeb jungle earlier this week and she had scrubbed all I’m A Celeb pictures from her social media accounts.
Loose Women’s Jane share the new image as she was joined by her two daughters Ellie and Grace and former campmate Dean McCullough and his mum Ann.
Also in the picture, Coleen Rooney’s parents were all smiles as her dad Anthony lay across an outdoor coffee table and her mum Colette wrapped an arm around Coleen and Wayne’s youngest son Cass, six.
The couple’s other son Kit, eight, was seen sitting on Alan Halsall’s friend Stephen knee while her eldest boys Kai, 15, and Klay, 12, chose to remain in the UK with their father Wayne, 39, who is also staying home thanks to his job as a manager at Plymouth Argyle.
KATIE HIND: Truth behind Tulisa’s huge bust-up and screaming row that led to her absence
Dressed in a pink vest top with her hair scraped back in a bun, Tulisa Contostavlos appeared distressed as she told her fans of her torment since leaving the I’m A Celeb jungle.
In an Instagram video, which she recorded in her £1,000-a-night hotel room at the JW Marriott on Australia’s Gold Coast, the usually glamorous singer looked a shadow of her former self as she described the after-effects of her shock exit from the reality show on Monday night.
Since then, I’m told, she has been distraught – so much so that she didn’t appear on spin-off show Unpacked on Tuesday with other celebrities so far evicted.
Nor has she been seen around the resort, prompting speculation that she had jumped on a plane back home.

Exclusive:Tulisa heads home to UK in huge snub to I’m A Celeb final
Tulisa Contostavlos has snubbed the I’m A Celebrity final as she has flown back to the UK a week early after becoming the third campmate to be voted off the show on Monday.
It’s custom for all the cast to be present at the show’s final to congratulate the final three contestants but it can be confirmed the NDubz star, 36, will not be there as she has returned home to Manchester.
It comes after the former X-Factor had a bust-up in the hotel after she was evicted from the show with her best friends, Michelle McKenna and her boyfriend, Daniel Johnson.
Tulisa made it known to the couple she was not happy with the way they ran her Instagram while in the Jungle, deeming their posts about her to be ‘inappropriate’.
A source told MailOnline: ‘They were only in Australia because of Tulisa. It felt like they were revelling in the situation and taking liberties with her kindness.
‘Michelle and Daniel were there, on a trip funded by ITV and only because of Tulisa. They were there because of her and she trusted them with her social media.’
Viewers back Maura in ‘Ticket to Cyclone’ challenge
Viewers are backing Maura Higgins ahead of tonight’s episode with the reality star one of four campmates competing in the ‘Ticket to Cyclone’ challenge tonight.
Either Maura, Coleen, Oti or Danny will win immunity from the next two public votes to give them a huge boost of making Sunday’s final.
Following a teaser clip on ITV, here’s what viewers are saying:
Watch: Sneak peek shows I’m A Celeb stars battle over Ticket to Cyclone
On Thursday, Danny Jones, 38, Maura Higgins, 33, Oti Mabuse, 34, and Coleen Rooney, 38, will go head-to-head in Battle Blocks, the final challenge that determines who takes part in the Celebrity Cyclone.
In a sneak peak clip, the campmates can be seen returning to the Arcade Of Doom to take on a new challenge.
All four stars have their game faces on as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly explained how high the stakes are.
Poised and ready, they make their way into separate booths where they must solve the block puzzles on the wall as they are drenched in jungle slime.
Beneath the puzzles are boxes filled with stomach-churning organ meat, but it is so far unclear how this comes into play during the trial.
According to Gambling.com the two favourites to leave the show next are the former featherweight champion, Barry McGuigan, with current odds to be axed at 5//6 and Strictly’s Oti Mabuse is the second favourite with odds at 11/8 next.
With a double vote-off looming, these will be the two stars likely to be voted off.
Next is the Love Island star, Maura Higgins, with her current odds standing at 2/1 to be the third star voted off, followed by Coronation Street’s, Alan Halsall, with his odds at 3/1.
The TikTok star, GK Barry is just in front of the Corrie actor with the former Communards star Reverend Richard Coles standing in third place in the overall competition.
Coleen Rooney is just 4/6 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle and has knocked McFly’s Danny Jones, who has been favourite to win for two weeks, off the top stop to be the show’s next winner.
