What music did A-list stars listen to this year? Celebrities reveal their Spotify Wrapped 2024 results

Spotify Wrapped for the year of 2024 released for listeners around the world on Wednesday, December 4.

Many music fans took to social media to share their results, and some celebrities also partook in the digital art show, presenting their own lists and showing off their music tastes.

Of the few who shared their Spotify Wrapped, there was a common thread in that Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan were the most-listened-to-stars among the stars.

Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang also revealed Grande, his co-star in the musical movie adaptation of Wicked, was his top artist of the year.

The pop star posted on her Instagram Story a screenshot of a text message she received from Yang when he shared his Spotify Wrapped with her.

‘Oops I’m gay,’ he wrote to her, to which she responded: ‘I love you.’

Grande also shared posts reveling in her achievement and sharing her gratitude after learning she was one of the top 10 artists with the most number of streams globally in 2024. 

Her brother Frankie Grande revealed that he was in the top 0.05 percent of Ariana Grande listeners when he shared on Instagram that he listened to more than 7,600 minutes of her music in 2024. 

He also shared a graphic revealing that the hits from the Wicked soundtrack was among his Top Songs. 

Chappell Roan was one of the most-streamed artists of the year among all Spotify users but revealed that she did not chart on her own personal list. 

The HOT TO GO! hitmaker revealed that she listened to Ariana Grande the most, followed by Charli XCX, Heart, Justice and Kacey Musgraves. 

‘Top song was barracuda ofc,’ she wrote alongside the screenshot of her data. 

Olivia Rodrigo cheered on Roan when she shared that her top song was the rising star’s smash hit Good Luck, Babe!.

She cheered on Roan and their record producer when she shared that her top song was the rising star’s smash hit Good Luck, Babe!

Charli XCX, who was a top artist among many fellow celebrities, shared that her Top Artists list for the year of 2024 included Bladee, Air, A.G. Cook, Clairo and Mk.gee. 

Her own song Guess from her Brat album made her most played songs list at the number three slot. 

Sarah Michelle Gellar also shared her Spotify Wrapped results and revealed she did not achieve her goal of being within the top one percent of Taylor Swift listeners. 

She shared that while she did not break that record, she still listened to the superstar for more than 3,000 minutes during the year and was ranked in the top three percent of her listeners. 

In addition to Swift, her Top Artist list also included Chappell Roan, Kylie Minogue, Gracie Abrams and Bruno Mars. 

Alongside the screenshot, Gellar wrote that Gracie Abrams ‘will be #1 in no time’ on her list, perhaps for her Spotify Wrapped results next year.

The Game of Thrones actress revealed her list of Top Artists included her close friend Taylor Swift as well as Jungle, Cigarettes After Sex, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan. 

Her top three most listened to songs were Stockholmsvy by Hannes and waterbaby, followed by Noah Kahan’s Stick Season and Beyoncé’s Bodyguard.

Camila Cabello shared that her most listened to genre was Afrobeats when she shared her list of Top Songs, which included: Ijo (Laba Laba) by Crayon; Kontrol by Maleek Berry; Charm by Rema; Crush by Ethel Cain and We Caa Done by Popcaan and Drake.

Ice Spice also partook in sharing her Spotify Wrapped data as she posted her Top Artists list.

The actress shared that her top songs included Grande’s We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love), Eternal Sunshine, Yes, And? as well as Don’t Wanna Break Up Again, followed by Lana Del Rey’s Let The Light In. 

‘Yeah Arianators rise up,’ she wrote alongside her Spotify Wrapped list. 

Kim Petras shared her Top Artists which included herself in the number one spot, followed by Charli XCX, Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. 

Alongside her screenshot, she proudly wrote: ‘I’m so f***ing gay.’
